Edward Lee, D.O.

Radiation Oncologist

Edward Lee, DO is a board-certified radiation oncologist. He specializes in radiation therapy, which destroys cancer within the body by using carefully aimed beams of radiation.

Dr Lee prescribes how much radiation is received, plans how treatment will be given, follows patients closely during their course of treatment, and recommends care that may be needed to help with the side effects. Dr. Lee works closely with the other providers at Compass Healthcare.

Areas of Focus

As a radiation oncologist, Dr. Lee treats all types of cancer patients referred to Compass Healthcare. His area of special interest include breasts and gynecological malignancies, esophageal tumors, and electronic brachytherapy.

Education and Credentials

Dr. Lee has over 20 years of experience. He earned his medical degree at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Lee completed his residencies at Henry Ford Health System, Harper Hospital and St. John Oakland Hospital.

He received his Masters of Public Health from University of Michigan School of Public Health and his Bachelors of Science from Michigan State University Lyman Briggs College where he majored in Microbiology.

Get to Know Dr. Lee

Dr. Lee was born in Detroit and attended prep school at Cranbrook in Bloomfield Hills, MI. When he is not caring for patients he is cheering on the Spartans. An avid MSU fan, he attends most home games with his wife Gloria.
